Gallatin Women's Center was founded in 1986 by Dr. William R. Caldwell, MD and has provided services to Gallatin & surrounding communities since opening its doors. In October 2025, we proudly opened the Hendersonville Women's Center location. Our highly dedicated team includes Dr. Richard Alan Bennett, MD, FACOG, Dr. John Trussell, MD, FACOG and Nurse Practitioner Rachel Walker. With their combined years of experience and commitment to compassionate healthcare, the team provides quality care that is both professional and personable.
At our practice, the doctors understand that every woman’s needs are different and choosing the right birth control method is often challenging. They have expertise in helping women choose the best option for their lifestyle, such as contraceptive pills, Mirena®, Liletta®, Kyleena®, ParaGard® and Skyla® IUDs, and Nexplanon® implants.
For women who want to get pregnant, we provide preconception counseling and testing to catch any problem early in pregnancy. They also offer infertility evaluation and treatments.
For pregnant women, the practice offers the best prenatal care available. With the latest obstetrics technology and state-of-the-art 4D ultrasound system in the office, the doctors can assure the well-being of mother and baby. Our doctors deliver babies at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center.
The practice also offers routine and minimally invasive surgical approaches for uterine polyps, ovarian cysts, fibroids, and endometriosis, as well as NovaSure® for the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding.
