Richard Alan Bennett, MD, FACOG

Board Certified OB/GYN Richard Alan Bennett, MD, FACOG, is a dedicated specialist serving women of all ages at Gallatin Women’s Center. He has over two decades of experience in providing state-of-the-art care for a wide range of conditions and major events in a woman’s life.
Dr. Bennett attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating with honors. He completed his internship and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, serving as chief resident.
Dr. Bennett has several papers published to his name in prestigious scientific journals like American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fertility and Sterility. He has also contributed to “The Resident Companion,” the internet-based study aide for CREOG examination.
He is a member and fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and is affiliated with Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee for attending to labor and emergency needs of his patients.
Highly trained and honored in the medical community, Dr. Bennett treats women through all phases of life and develops a special one-on-one relationship with every patient.
John K. Trussell, MD, FACOG
Board Certified OB/GYN John K. Trussell, MD, FACOG has been providing women's care since 2016 and specializes in advanced surgery techniques utilizing advanced, minimally invasive techniques to help women find relief and improve their quality of life. Dr. Trussell focuses on specialized care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period ensuring personalized, compassionate care every step of the way!
Dr. Trussell also offers the MonaLisa Touch procedure which is a minimally invasive laser treatment designed to address symptoms of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), such as vaginal dryness, itching, and painful intercourse, caused by declining estrogen levels. Women who experience similar side effects as a result of a hysterectomy or breast cancer treatments may also benefit from gynecologic laser therapy.
Dr. Trussell grew up in West Tennessee and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Furman University and his medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Trussell is a certified DaVinci robotic surgeon specializing in robotic hysterectomy surgery.
He and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their dogs Sailor and Stella.
Rachel Walker, WHNP
Rachel graduated from Frontier Nursing University and received her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner license in June, 2023. She has ten years of nursing experience, including working with women in the specialty of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and completed over 675 clinical hours in Women’s Health in Houston, TX.
Kiersten Anderson, WHNP

Kiersten graduated from University of Alabama Birmingham and received her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner license in August, 2021. She grew up in Minnesota and moved to Middle Tennessee in 2017. Prior to joining Gallatin Women's Center, Kiersten spent the last three years treating Obstetric/Gynecology patients in Smyrna, TN.
